Eviromental
At the heart of our values lies sustainability, which is reflected in our ORCA PODs. We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint by creating efficient and sustainable living spaces. We conduct intensive research to source core materials from sustainable suppliers, with 90% of them being Canadian-made. Additionally, we ensure that 70% of these materials are recyclable at the end of their life, and their entire lifecycle is carefully considered to guarantee that they originate from renewable sources or are either recycled or recyclable. We collaborate with like-minded partners who share our values, prioritizing those who are located near us to significantly reduce the embodied energy of each ORCA POD.
Our Pods are designed to achieve maximum energy efficiency, with top-quality commercial-grade insulation that reduces heating and CO2 emissions. We are committed to minimizing our use of any toxic or hazardous materials.
We believe that our healthy and sustainable modular solutions can revolutionize the way people live, work, and play, and we are proud to be making a positive impact on the environment while providing comfortable and efficient living spaces.
Social
Our company is deeply committed to creating social value within our local community. In addition to creating local jobs, we are committed to supporting the regional economy by promoting innovative, high-quality living spaces that require minimal maintenance and are affordable for everyone. We collaborate closely with local manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers to move towards more efficient and sustainable business practices.
Whenever possible, we source materials from Local Canadian manufacturers. When this is not feasible, we prioritize working with 100% Canada-owned companies that reinvest in the local economy. We believe that these practices will help build a brighter future for our community and beyond.
